The International Conference on Automotive Engineering „Off-Road Vehicles” – ORV 2008 – is the 33rd scientific event in the field of Automotive Engineering organized by Military Vehicles Department, but also the first one organized as a self-stated one.
The conference wishes to establish the background for the presentation of the research results performed by „Off-Road Vehicles” specialists, focused on the military vehicles engineering.
The Conference will take place under the hight patronage of the EAEC and SIAR.
The President of the Honorary Committee of the Conference is Mr. Brigadier ret. Professor GÜNTER HOHL, FISITA Vice-president and EAEC President.

Hosted by National Military Circle, in the heart of Bucharest, the conference can be an opportunity for further collaborations in the scientific research areas.
